Vocals, Dresses, and Dancing…

Busy busy busyyy day!

But a good one : ) I’ve just logged on after a recording sesh, putting down vocals for a song (that doesn’t have a name yet) for our new album (also as yet untitled). It’s so exciting seeing it emerge, and daydreaming about the artwork, the themes in the songs, and gigging our new songs with a full band and wonderful, wonderful dresses…

But back in the real world, I have been working very hard on an article about the choreographer, Hofesh Shechter, who caused a hoo-ha earlier in the year with his show in the Roundhouse in Camden… You might recognise his work from the opening of Series Two of Skins. He’s worth having a peep at.

    That vid was awesome! (the girl was blatantly the best dancer) Looked at some of his other work too, looks amazing, can we go to one of his shows?!

    ….and re that picture above, I thought it was Tim at first glance too! Then realised he could never be that clever ;) wellll looks like him though, bit weird.

    Haha! I didn’t notice til then : D

    He recently did an awesome show in The Roundhouse in Camden, which was where we were before Amy’s leaving do. Doing another thingy at Sadler’s Wells coming up soon though.. He’s getting pretty big, so there’ll be lots of hype about him around for a long time to come!

    PS – the girl and the boy (that’s not Maxxie) in the Skins vid are both trained dancers, so they’re pretty good yes! :D
