I just found out about Scanners, on an epic MySpace trawl while recovering from migraine of the year.
Migraine has significantly retreated since watching this vid by the band.
Girls with basses are literally the coolest people to walk the planet. Reminds me of why, at 14, I decided to grow my hair out from the tiny blonde bob I used to have after having a dream about D’arcy Wretsky leaving Smashing Pumpkins and being asked to stand in for her. Ah, dreams.
Sarah from Scanners happens to be one of those said cool bass girls. And even better: her song’s sexy and wonderful.
