We made a homage to one of our most favourite songs by one of our most favourite artists.
We filmed it at 3am in an amazing church. Hope you like it : )
Pssssst!
Pre order your tickets for tomorrow’s secret gig with The Good Natured in The Workshop (downstairs at the Road Trip in Hoxton) right here. You’ll be able to get your hands on a copy of the album and I may kiss you all on the face because I’m so excited.
(Let us know you’re coming at the Facebook event. Everyone loves a Facebook event.)
We’ve been busy. Welcome to our new house. We’ll be here, blogging as usual but now there’s new places for you guys to explore, like the photo gallery, our shop (which will have all sorts of wicked and wonderful merchandise coming soon), a home for all our videos and a few other bits too.
PLUS:
We’re so excited to announce the release of our new album, Scatterheart, that we’re kicking it all off with a free download of our first single, Head Over Heels. All you have to do is sign up for our thoroughly excellent and not-at-all-spammy newsletter here to get your copy.
Scatterheart will be released track by track, in little teasers everyday leading up to the official release date. You can check the progress, and listen to the snippets at the Music section of the site.
If you’re following us on Twitter & Facebook, you’ll be the first to know when a new track preview is available for your sweet ears. We’ll also be tweeting and facebook-ing all our live dates, new blogs, as well as posting pics and fun things.
I’m afraid I’m about to deposit an absolute heap of information on you. This morning, it started off as a two-point post. Then I found something else that simply MUST go in this blog. Then another. And then another. : )
Here goes.
1. FESTIVAL HUNT.
Bim are on the look out for festivals to slide around in and play our music at this year. If you know of a particularly awesome festival that we should play, throw it in the comments box and we’ll get on it.
In other animal news, Topshop have gone all Red Riding Hood for their new collection. Aw, man. I wish I had a fox to put on my head.
4. CHARITY SINGLE. Only, kind of, not annoying and full of chumps.
I’m talking Imogen Heap’s improvised charity single for Great Ormond Street that she credits the audience for creating with her.
I get that tingly feeling about improvised stuff. It’s exciting. Especially so if it’s Imogen Heap who’s pumping extraordinary ethereal sounds. There’s something very special about collaboration, art and chance. Explored very bravely and successfully here. Immi, I salute you. : )
It’s only £1 and it’s beautiful. Buy it!
